This site is intended to give an idea of the musical experience and wide knowledge of Janet Myatt, showing her varied work in the fields of teaching, performing and conducting.

Janet's approach to instrumental teaching is to impart her love of music to future generations in both a practical fun based and when needed exam based system. Whilst at the same time embracing a wider knowledge of the repertoire outside of exam systems, ie general musical knowledge, history of styles of music and the lives of the great composers who wrote in and developed those styles.
