We believe that by buying locally we can reduce our food miles and in turn reduce our carbon footprint. It also guarantees fresh produce that hasn't been frozen in transit. Our veg and herbs come from Keythorpe Walled Gardens (pictured right), cheese from a farm in Sparkenhoe and eggs from Shangton! We also hire locally with the majority of our staff living in the village or nearby. This means many of us have an easy commute by walking to work. Set in the picturesque village of Medbourne, in the heart of the beautiful Welland Valley, The Nevill Arms is an old stable yard and coaching inn bordering on Medbourne brook. The Nevill has ten boutique bedrooms, a stunning restaurant, welcoming bar and our brand new Josper Bar & Grill which is set back in its  own private courtyard.

My husband and I recently stayed the night at the Nevill Arms Inn with my brother and sister-in-law. We were visiting from South Africa and this was such an incredible evening. The food was absolutely fantastic. Incredibly tasty, different and a wonderful gastro experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We hope to repeat it again on our next visit to the UK. Well done to all the staff and management. Keep it up! We will be back.

Lovely dog friendly, rural pub. Friendly staff. Amazing food. We went there recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We started off with some drinks in their lovely outside seating area next to a stream. Before moving inside for our lovely meal. We cannot fault the place.

I visited this restaurant for a family get together meal several years ago and was very impressed. So when my wife and I stayed at a nearby village we looked forward to visiting again. Sadly this experience was not as good. We selected lamb rump and sirloin steak. The lamb was undercooked (yes, undercooked) and bland, relying on the sauces and accompaniments to give flavour. My wife’s sirloin was well cooked but a bit tough and her chips overcooked and dry. For £35, the steak was a big let-down. The lamb at £28 was not very enjoyable. Drinks were fine and service above average and as expected based on our previous visit. At the prices charged here, the food should be excellent, nothing less. Both dishes were, in my opinion, well below expectations and we won’t rush back.

Excellent Pub and hotel. My room was fabulous. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The bar is lovely and cosy and the outside seating area to the front and back are very good. My breakfast was awesome, best eggs benedict I have ever had. Highly recommended it. I will be heading back at some point very soon.

Nice country pub. We went for lunch. Staff were lovely. The food is not cheap, but it's good quality. Service took a little longer than we might like, but overall this was a good experience.
