This ensures best practices are used and high safety standards are adhered to. My beloved 1971 bay window had numerous holes in the inlet manifold and was running rough. Neil fitted a new manifold, sorted the associated gaskets and tuned the engine perfectly. He also replaced the fuel lines and recommended a few things to check in the future. I can't get over how quiet and smooth running my van is now! Jake and Neil were great from start to finish. Professional, friendly, full of knowledge about air cooled VWs and classics in general. They were beyond helpful, their work is fantastic, thorough and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for both cosmetic and mechanical work, and they are both absolutely lovely chaps as well.

Jake took care of my 1989 MK1 VW Caddy after a rear end collision. The quality of work was outstanding. I thought I'd never get it back to good but it's been totally rebuilt on the nearside rear end and looks incredible. Jake kept me updated with progress constantly which was brilliant. The attention to detail was fantastic and Jake and Neil really took care with the parts they sourced and used to keep it all original. It's a real head-turner now! I would thoroughly recommend them.

I’ve also had a fire suppression system and new headlights fitted. At every stage of any work NJ’s have done I’ve been kept informed with photos and emails, their attention to detail and customer care is fantastic. NJ's did an EPIC job completing a full mechanical rebuild and complete engine rebuild with balancing and steering and braking overhaul on my 1970 fastback with some additional custom fabrication on a steel frame for fitting a beetle top fill petrol tank. Car nicely lowered too! They priced up a quote, kept to it and were happy to accommodate my additional requests as we progressed through to getting the fastback done. I'm 430 miles into the running in and the VW runs excellent, lovely and smooth, steering and brakes are spot on. I wouldn't take the car anywhere else now, Neil and Mark are my Type 3 go-to guys for sure. Excellent Garage, can't recommend highly enough for sorting your air-cooled VW!

Neil is awesome. Hung about in his early career with VW trained mechanics and so is classically trained in all things VW. He worked on my Bay and set it up properly - and with a non-stock Niki Carb. You know he’s properly into his craft as he got in touch to check on a nut he was sure wasn’t tightened. Totally recommend him and his business. My bus runs and is going back to his for extra engine work! In the words if EBAY - use this one 😝
