The vision of Norwich Steiner School is to provide a Steiner-Waldorf curriculum for pupils from age 3-19 years of age, with pupils being able to leave the school as balanced, well -rounded and mature young adults, able to pursue their own futures and destinies with confidence and self-belief.

As an all-through-school we are privileged to see the children progress through the school,  and interacting together along the way- from the foundation building freedom of kindergarten, up through the lower school and then back downstairs again to the upper school, to see them grow and change, develop their identities, interests and ideas. And the children look ahead to where they will follow, know where they are going and see the possibilities the future may bring.

Since our child has been at the Steiner school he has become the positive, loving and eager to learn child he was before he went to State secondary school. He is respected and encouraged, instead of crushed and punished. The teachers are very conscientious and kind. Everyday he tells me what they have been learning with excitement and joy. He says it is the "best school in the world" and everyday he comes out smiling. I am so glad we found this school, I feel our child's education is in very good hands.

My son has been attending this school for 2 years now. The teaching standards are very high and he is receiving a very good all rounded eductation. The most amazing value for money.

I recommend this school to anyone considering it for their children. My children have been attending since they started in kindergarten and have now joined the Upper School. They have always enjoyed going to school and the variety of subjects on offer. The school has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and I have been very impressed by the level of care displayed by the teaching staff towards all of the children. If you would like to see the school, I would suggest that you attend one of the regular introductory mornings as this will give you a really good insight into the school and how it runs on a day to day basis.

I would highly recommend this School. I feel that seeing the child as an individual and encouraging them to see learning as something enjoyable has produced some wonderful results in the children. My son is very happy and seeing him develop on all levels is such a joy. The School is based in lovely grounds giving the children the chance to enjoy nature and fields and forgetting that they are in the centre of Norwich. If you are feeling it is time to see education as a journey and not a race for your child I would recommend you take a look at this School.

The school provides a good all-round education for our children. We consider them to be very happy there - especially when we see them in a play or similar. The staff are very committed and there is a genuine feeling of warmth among parents and staff. I would recommend anyone who is interested to get in touch to arrange a visit.
