I drove my wife to an appointment at Basildon Hospital and parked my car in the hospital’s car park. After the appointment the car wouldn’t start! A taxi took me to Oakdene Garage where I explained the situation. The employees – Joe and Reece – were very helpful: • They towed my car from the hospital to the garage; • Diagnosed the problem – a faulty starter motor; • Quoted the cost of replacing the starter motor and replaced it; • Provided a courtesy car so that we could get home. Exemplary service backed by competent workmanship - a winning combination.

After noticing a vibrating noise and an intermittent tapping coming from my Peugeot 3008, I contacted Toomey Peugeot who wanted to charge me an initial £118 to plug in to diagnostics, I was a bit dubious about this and whether diagnostics would be able to diagnose what this minor rattling noise was being caused by. I decided to take it in to Oakdene who I have used previously for other motors I've owned, despite not having a booking, Reece came out and took it for a short road test, he immediately suggested that the noise was being caused by a heat shield, after jacking my car up and spending 5 minutes underneath, all issues were rectified. Minimum £118 saved and probably a lot more. Very friendly, welcoming staff, efficient, honest, very competitive pricing, this is just a refreshingly nice place for the majority of your motoring needs and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Had a full service and a couple problems that caused a bit of a delay but Oakdene did an amazing job and never made me feel like a nuisance. Reece is a real asset to the team, who kept me updated the whole time. Was anxious about finding a garage in Essex which wouldn't rip me off but Oakdene is one of the few garages that aren't out for your money and appears reputation and service is the priority. So glad I found them 😊

I own a BMW X3, suddenly I had problems turning left and Right. I took it to Oakdene Autos and asked for a diagnosis. One of the staff (Joe) got in my car, passenger side and we drove around the corner then Joe drove my car around for a bit. Joe gave me his thoughts and explained where the fault could be. We booked the car in for a weeks time. I took the car in on the day arranged and was given a tempory car so that I was left stranded while they did there digital diagnostics. They had the car for the afternoon during which time I had a couple of phone calls from Oakdene letting me know how the car was getting in and at 5.30 I got a phone saying the car was all fixed and running like a dream. I was expecting a bill of Thousands and it was just in the hundreds, I am a very happy and well informed customer. The service was excellent all the staff were polite and welcoming, I would definitely recommend OAKDENE AUTO’s
