Since 1990, Old Luxters has been the venue of choice for weddings in Oxfordshire, as well as Christmas parties, corporate events and joyous birthday parties, with each event tailored exclusively for your needs. Our lovely 18^th century converted barn has a charming rustic appeal, with all modern conveniences discreetly to hand.  Seating from 60 adult guests up to 114 guests, and drinks receptions up to 150 guests, this flexible space can be personalised for any occasion, whether lavish or casual in style. Old Luxters offers a reception barn, bar area and raised gallery with DJ console. The beautiful orchard to the left of the barn makes an ideal space for a marquee or even a yurt, creating a lovely outdoor space.

Old Luxters Barn is located in the Hambleden Valley, near Henley-on-Thames, set within a renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our barn is part of Chiltern Valley Winery, Brewery & Vineyard. We therefore offer a unique venue for those seeking a different and atmospheric location, any time of year.

We got married here last November and it was the most perfect venue. Having been to a few weddings this year I am now able to compare the service and staff, and can confidently say that we got very lucky with Old Luxters. Everyone was so accommodating and professional, and nothing was too much! The venue is small but it was perfect for us, and the barn was turned around from the ceremony to our wedding breakfast seamlessly. We will cherish our memories here forever and look forward to returning for many more visits!

Luxters is a stunning venue because of its uniqueness, beauty, intimacy - but most of all, it is informal yet really special. The team were amazing at making everything run like clockwork on the day - all my guests raved about the venue and said it was the most personal and lovely wedding they have been to. It’s amazing for a summer wedding and the surrounding areas are truly beautiful. We didn’t have the food tasting due to the additional cost, but all the food was amazing - we went for sharing platters and it added to the relaxed and social vibe that we were after. I have very few criticisms: There are a few additional costs that surprised us but on the whole, it is really great value for money. It is also worth pointing out that if you’re not a very organised person yourself, I would recommend booking in meetings with the planners in advance as they’re very busy and it’s left up to you unless you ask for the help. However, I’m used to running events and project management so this wasn’t really a problem for me - the team followed my every instruction to the letter and the day couldn’t have gone smoother. Luxters will always have a special place in my heart - I don’t think any other venue compares. Thank you so much to the team.

What a genuine wonderful find. Not too far from Henley & High Wycombe and situated in amongst the gorgeous Chiltern Hills, even the twisty drive to the farm gave us brief moments of beautiful breathtaking vistas to come and the promise of a wonderful late afternoon in this seemly secret world. We were not disappointed! After a lovely platter of nibbles and a glass or two of Luxters wonderful sparkling wine we were introduced to Victoria and treated to a informative and comprehensive tour. We followed the wine makers path from grape to bottle in this gem of a vineyard. To say Victoria knew what she was talking about is understatement and her passion and love for her craft is obvious and infectious. Finishing in the tasting room, trying more wines, their fantastic selection of ales from the microbrewery and liqueurs it was perfect way to end a brilliant two hours. Old Luxters maybe a small vineyard but it shots way above its weight giving some of the best English wines I've ever tasted!! Old Luxters Barn is well worth a visit but please don't tell anyone, it's our little secret... .....😉

What a lovely couple of days we have had, wine and beer tasting experience was great, John was very informative and all the wine and beer was lovely, b&b made it even better, beautiful cottage, room was spotless and had a lovely view over the gardens and vineyard, breakfast was excellent, all staff were so friendly and kind, would definitely recommend.
