We are a five star rated horse riding establishment with an approachable warm and friendly team who are passionate about horses and teaching riding, most importantly care deeply for the happiness and welfare needs of our equine family and friends.

We are a family run business for over 50 years, we have a wide selection of horses and ponies to suit all riding abilities which are specially selected for temperament and suitability, enabling our clients to enjoy the best experiences with horses.

We offer riding lessons to everyone aged 3 years and upwards on our exceptional selection of horses and ponies. We welcome total beginners right through to more experienced riders of all ages. Adult and children’s Group lessons are available daily including weekends or shared semi-private or 1-1 private basis for on or off lead rein riders. (Private lessons are subject to availability).

Our group lessons are decided according to the ability of the riders and not age. We strongly believe that horse and pony care is an important part of every rider’s development, for this reason we also offer stable management lessons, for both children and adults which consist of 45 mins hands on learning, our Riding Award Scheme, Pony Club or ABRS stable management and equitation qualifications can be worked towards as requested.

What a great holiday find! Staff were so welcoming, there's a positive spirit around the yard and the horses are clearly well cared for. We were able to borrow boots as well as a hat and our existing skills were checked before riding out - customer safety is thought about carefully. Lilie was a fab instructor - super friendly and encouraging 😀 and if we lived nearby we'd be regulars!

My daughter really enjoys riding at parkside. On her first lesson i filled in a form on what she could do (nothing) and after the lesson she could do Sitting, Rising and standing trot. She learnt that in an hour group lesson, i think there where about 8 kids in it altogether. They let her borrow boots and a helmet for free and where really kind and friendly. The lesson prices where really good they are as follows : £13 - 30 mins £18 - 1 hour I don't know about private lessons but there is also a stable management course for £10. I will do and have recommended this to friends.
