Since building my first proper electric guitar at 13 yrs of age, I’ve been wholeheartedly involved in all aspects of music ever since, as a singer-songwriter, musician, bandleader, producer/engineer, teacher and ‘virtuoso’ soloist.

I teach guitar, bass, drums and production and DAW based engineering in an informal but highly effective personalised system which I’ve developed myself over the years, focusing on playing songs/pieces & plenty of improvisation from the start and through to super advanced levels of creative musicianship and songwriting if required. But the main thing is keeping it fun all the way!

Paul is a super guy and an oracle of musical knowledge. I initially started seeing Paul for Bass lessons but then started to play more and more guitar, and he was flexible enough to allow me to flip between the two depending on how I was feeling on the day. His musical repertoire is quite staggering. I’ve never known anyone with such a wide range of styles under his belt. He loves almost all types of music and his approach is highly infectious. He has increased my knowledge and love of funk, rock, blues and soul, and I will always be grateful for that. His approach is very much based on my preferences, sometimes I want to learn a specific song, and sometimes he will just start off on a jam, and the time just flies.
