Claire5 StarFantastic nursery, with a wonderful selection of trees, shrubs and perennials. Helpfully laid out with seasonal plants in the plant centre.

Geoff Bonner5 StarMedium to large nursery, excellent range of plants ranging from trees to herbaceous. Much better than a garden centre - they sell plants (not furniture, or cuddly toys or dubious foodstuffs like most garden centres), they have an excellent range of plants, their prices are much lower than the garden centres, and the size and quality of the plants is much better than the garden centres. Caroline Thomas2 StarWe often visit to stock our garden with plants and have always found staff helpful, however when we visited this morning the female member of staff we spoke to did not seem happy to help at all see did tell us to to speak to someone else but her tone was very offish so we left and didn’t even bother to walk round.Monday 10th October 2022

As a complete rookie to all things gardening I cannot thank Penwood enough for the quality of service they have provided. After purchasing some hedging and trees I had plenty of questions which multiple people were always happy and helpful in their answers when I phoned up. The delivery service was also excellent, the driver took extra time to explain everything and talk me through the heeling + planting process. Thank you to everyone for a great customer experience. Very helpful staff and very competitive prices. Not a general purpose garden centre, but if you want shrubs and trees I have not seen better.Monday 17th August 2020
