When Princess Margherita visited Naples in 1889, no-one, not even the renowned Neopolitan chef Raffaele Esposito, could have predicted the impact of the dish that he prepared and presented to her.
A soft, floury dough base covered in a rich tomato sauce, topped with mozzarella and baked in a stone oven finished with a garnish of hand-picked fresh basil. The Princess royally approved and, pronto, the pizza as we know it was born.
Today, we pay homage to Raffaele’s work by creating authentic stone baked pizzas of the highest quality. Using only the freshest ingredients and traditional techniques, our hand-made pizzas are made entirely onsite at our unique units.
Following in great Italian pizza making traditions requires craft, a love of fresh food and a whole lot of theatre. When you visit us, not only will we make your pizza by hand in front of your eyes, we’ll give you a slice of Italy to take away too.

Jessie Shakespeare5 StarRandomly popped in for lunch after Christmas shopping. I had a buffalo mozzarella pizza and a peroni. It was INCREDIBLE, the best pizza I've had outside of Italy and by far far the best I've ever had in Oxford. Staff were super friendly and absolutely gorgeous to and elderly couple who came whilst I was there, helping them up and down the steps. AMAZING!

Order no Z82 consisted of a margarita which 1/4 of the base was so burnt it was carcinogenic and inedible and the second pizza of spicy salami which contained very little salami. The dough and base tasted fantastic, nice char, great flavour.
The pizza sauce had all the signs of a good sauce but fell short due to lack of seasoning.
The pizza was very soggy with huge droop, toppings slid off when picking up a slice.
The pizza booked for collection 930 arrived 928 and was already ready so shouldn't have been sat around to long
The cheese had good flavour could have done with a bit more
So much potential but didn't really deliver, certainly not bad, but wouldn't be rushing back eitherFriday 20th January 2023
