Really bad experience with these guys - dropped off at station 30 mins early in the cold and rain and when I called their office I was told it was basically my own fault for getting in the cab when he’d turned up before schedule. I asked for at least a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill and they refused. Will be avoiding in future.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but felt I had no choice. On Friday night I had an advanced booked taxi with Place2Place. The plan was to collect my friend, then collect me, then take us to a restaurant in the countryside for a Christmas celebration. Yes the roads were icy, but this had been booked 4 days in advance so we knew that. The driver turned up to collect money friend and drove past her on a larger non icy road, before pulling into a side road and sitting there for 15 minutes.I tried calling multiple times before getting through eventually. He was in a rear wheel drive and worried about driving in the ice. After collecting me 15 minutes late, he then kept talking about getting stuck in the snow and asking us the best way to go. Eventually I had to ask him to just stop and I would drive. We were 20 mins late for our table. But might I add, there was no problem from ice or snow on route. We called to complain and the manager Stuart was extremely rude. He told us to find another taxi company, as we had complained before. Yes I had complained before - when I was left waiting at the airport for an hour!!! We have a right to complain when your service is disastrous This wasn’t sudden and unexpected snow. It had been on the ground for 6 days by the time of our trip, and you should have sent an appropriate car who was comfortable with the journey. And finally, there was no excuse for your rudeness

Yesterday (4/09/22) was my wedding day. We obviously booked everything months in advance. Unfortunately was told by place to place taxis at midday on the actual day that all taxis we had booked had been cancelled. That’ was my wife’s and I, the in laws, the sister and brother. All cancelled. All left completely stranded with them not even bothering to sort anything out. Just said sorry cars have been cancelled nothing we can do. Do not use, I will certainly never use again. We did however, and at last minute book 4 taxis from express. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everyone use express. They were friendly, polite, and actually fulfilled our request.

I booked months in advance for my wedding night. On the actual day around midday, I was on the way to my wedding and my father told me all our taxis had been cancelled with no apology and no offer to help sort it. I was about to walk down the aisle and didn’t need this. Luckily we asked express taxis and they went above and beyond for us. There were quite a few of us needed and they sorted it all for us. Avoid place2place as they clearly don’t care about their customers

I wish I had read the Google reviews before relying on this cab company to pick me up at 5:40am! It's 6am and no show up :( and no one is picking up the workline, meanwhile I called yesterday evening to confirm my booking and they said it's all set! Now I have missed my shift! I should have just sticked to express taxi who did better the last time I used them at about the same time.
