Food was excellent except for roast potatoes, extremely ample servings. Staff are very helpful, pleasant n jovial. We ate a late Sunday lunch at 16:00, 8 of us, menu still full of choices!

Good food and very generous portions. Owner and staff all very pleasant. Service pretty good, some menu items not quiet as described but nothing major and offers were made to correct any misgivings. Overall very good would happily return.

Had the fish pie and the mushroom pot and it was absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming, restrooms were spotless. What else can you wish for? Happy that we stumbled upon this place on our journey!

Good service, friendly staff, but food expensive for what it was. My partner had steak and chips, steak was really fatty and cost £27! Chips were so salty he left most of them. I had the wild boar pie off the specials board which was very tasty but again, chips were a let down and veg over cooked. Two of us, two cokes, two beers two starters and mains was £75. We eat out most weeks and can honestly say there are much better places locally that serve nicer food at more reasonable prices so we won't be going back.
