COVID Safety
This is the most important safety aspect that we have faced in recent years. As such we have a robust procedure whereby parents/carers and staff have been working together to keep the Covid impact to a minimum. We have fully followed Government Guidelines and continually communicated these to our families and staff. We have continued to operate throughout the pandemic offering care to our much needed, keyworker children.
We work in very small groups which helps to limit the amount of mixing, no members of the public enter our building unless absolutely necessary (following strict guidelines). We have also been working in bubbles so children remain with the same peer group and staff throughout the day.
We close the settings in August and December for deep cleaning and allow a mini “circuit breaker”. Staff now have the option of being tested twice weekly now and any child/staff member showing systems are tested immediately and self isolate until the results are back. With the systems we have put into place since March 2020 we have had limited cases and not needed to close at all. We hope this will continue, ensuring the safest environment we can possibly provide.

grace perry5 StarMy daughter has been coming here since she was 1 and I’ve never had a single complaint. The staff are fantastic with her and she’s always happy to go into nursery. It isn’t as big as your mainstream nursery’s which I love as she gets more interaction with the teachers. All the staff are so kind and welcoming. And very professional within any circumstances. I have a disabled baby and she will definitely be coming here when she gets a little older. Poplars are very up to date on developmental stages and help my daughter enormously on her development, she has come on so much! I couldn’t fault anything with the nursery! Both of my son's attend this nursery and both have a really good relationship with all the staff that work here.
One of my children is non verbal, since attending poplars he has improved massively on his social skills and different communication methods. All of the staff have an amazing approach and are able to understand what he wants and needs.
The support we have received has been absolutely outstanding from day one.
I could not ask for a better staff team to care for my children.

Simona Encheva5 StarAll the staff in Poplars Nursery are fantastic! They give daily updates on how your child is adapting/doing in the nursery setting. The communication has been great! My child loves the food, there is in house chef which is a great advantage as not many places offer this. Would definitely recommend this nursery!Tuesday 18th January 2022
