Room that we stayed in were not so bad. Had a huge bed that my kids took over and two single beds ( which my sister and I slept in) comfortable . Only thing was ac was broken in the room which they knew ahead of arriving and provided a fan which was nice of them. The bathroom tub did however have stains or mildew or something in it.. overall was a decent location to the wedding we attended near by.

Awful experience at this Premier Inn. Such a shame as I usually find the chain cheap and cheerful however on this occasion I was arriving with a group of wedding guests. We were promised our room keys were ready however on our arrival the reception team seemed very unprepared and flustered, they were really rude to myself and other guests who had been waiting around for over an hour to check in. Once checked in, a few of us came down to reception to request an iron and there was no one to be found. The 2 receptionists were then located behind the building smoking and having a drink. Unfortunately this experience tainted our stay here as we were simply shocked at the extremely poor customer service. Such a disappointment.

As usual, if in doubt go for the Premier Inn. It's a chain and you know what you are going to get. It's a budget chain, of course, and you get what you pay for. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is really comfortable and it's quiet. This hotel has opening windows. Good. Hotel rooms can get very stuffy, unpleasantly so, so I prefer windows that open.

The biggest issue for me was parking, I parked up, checked in at recpetion and gave my registration number, and still ended up with a parking fine, Premier Inn did manage to get this waived citing firstly a reception issue then IT issues, so who knows, however I then had a charge from my Hire Car company for "Admin" as they had to pass my details on. Premier Inn at this point has totally avoided taking responsability for this and I am still waiting for contact from Premier Inn customer care over a week later. So even though I have done nothing wrong I am lumbered with a fee. Stayed here a few weeks ago, during an earlier heatwave, the room was absolutely boiling, with a very ineffective fan provided, apparrently there are rooms with aircon, but these are in an annex and you have to ask, nowhere during the booking process was this mentioned so how are you supposed to know? In total my one night stay ended up costing £135, for a boiling hot room and a terrible nights sleep, so cannot recommend, will look elsewhere next time I am in the area. I could maybe forgive the hot room as they dont control the weather, but the lack of communication at booking regarding AC along with the extra fee I have been charged through no fault of my own has been pretty irritating.

The service desk was not organised. Got our room wrong and weren't prepared for us. Some of the staff was rude and not professional. There were times they were outside smoking or having a break at the reception was completely empty and many people waiting. So unacceptable.
