Went in last night (Thursday) evening for banquet night starter,main meal,rice and Nan for £12.95 it was a good meal, service was good, very chatty found out that the owner has taken on a partner he’s going to run the business plus a new chef who did them proud, we will definitely return !!

A last minute booking after having been let down at an Indian restaurant in Alford. When we arrived it was very busy, the guy at the counter rushed off his feet, but, still managed to give excellent service. We had a bit of a wait for the food, well worth it, every dish of the four of us diners was fantastic. I think I lost a stone in weight just watching the guy at the counter working his but off, and smiling all the time. Very friendly staff, would definitely recommend a visit here, and yes we will be going back.

Had the house special tonight, the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka and sheek kebab were all delicious, however the lamb tikka was inedible it was so chewy/gristly, couldn’t be cut even with a very sharp knife, Very disappointing , had to throw the lamb away !
