Performers

SMASH AUDITIONS – GET THE PARTMy very favourite people to work with are performers, who are adding professional singing to their skillset.
Dancers and actors I love working with you.

“I’ve been working with Rebecca via zoom for four months now, and in that time I’ve gone from being terrified to sing in front of anyone, to learning how to use my voice in ways I never thought possible. I feel great about where I’m at, I can confidently share songs in front on the welcoming group sessions and I have a lot of fun in the process. Would highly recommend for anyone who’s ever wanted to sing but didn’t think they could!”

Laura Kelly – newbie singer, Belfast

Teaching singing lessons in Birmingham for over 15 years. I’m always amazed to hear that someone travels over an hour each way for their weekly lesson! I’ve taught in-person, 1-2-voice lessons to people from Birmingham and as far afield as Rugby, Worcestershire to Stafford and Leicester.

Taught singing and voice to international mega stars, West End leads and assisted singers to get into top colleges.

Helped hundred of scared singers release their inner singer.

Trained in pretty much everything including anatomy, acoustics and post-rehabilitation voice care.

I’m very interested in mindset and healing, I’m a qualified NLP, Timeline Therapy (TM) and Hypnotherapy Practitioner and Level 3 Counsellor.

I have been an actress/singer/writer for over twenty-five years, including London and touring shows.

My most recent show, Baby Brained the Musical is a one woman show about Post Natal Depression that I was in the middle of an Arts Council Funded Tour of when Covid hit, (CLICK HERE for more info).

I have established over 6 choirs and currently run/ Musical Direct Cantare Choir, (CLICK HERE for more info).

“My voice seems to be working differently (for the better) since lessons and has a bit more depth and a bit more “interest” than before my lessons. I don’t know what I’m doing differently but it seems to have more of an identity!”

As a complete beginner who has never had the confidence to sing in public, the idea of having singing lessons was a nerve-wracking prospect – especially in the midst of the Corona virus pandemic and subsequent lock down. Yet from my very first Zoom call, Rebecca has made me feel comfortable with exploring my own voice, helped by her wonderfully friendly persona and contagious enthusiasm – both of which are not in the least diminished over the internet! I would highly recommend booking online lessons, above all for beginners like me who are a little bit nervous, and would prefer to start in the comfort of their own home!

What I love about Rebecca’s singing lessons is that she genuinely cares, whatever ability you have. Her emphasis for me has been to improve my confidence and to do this she uses a huge array of fun techniques to relax me and improve on my vocals. The best thing of all is the sessions are fun, fascinating and inspiring. Every lesson I come away on a total high!

Rebecca has been teaching my daughter for the past 9 months, and i can't recommend her enough, Beth is very nervous when meeting new people, but Rebecca put her at ease and found common ground to chat about using music that Beth enjoys. As a teacher she is patient, encouraging, professional and adaptable, gives honest down to earth advise and works with the best interests of her students in mind, not pushing to hard or letting them remain unchallenged. A very friendly and fun lady who has helped not only improve Beth's voice but her confidence is coming on a treat as well, she looks forward to her lessons each week and we are looking forward to her first performance.
