Avoid at all costs! Our order was £47.00!!!! The pancakes were wet so had all broken yet hard on the outside, the duck was cold. The sauce for the duck was water and vinegar mixed with a bit of hoisin. The special fried rice comes full of mushrooms, something I hate, not in the description. Sweet and sour sauce also full of vinegar and water. Chow mein was fine. Chips were the worst item. Definitely re heated. When ringing up the lady basically confirmed what I’ve said above. It’s the first ever take away I’ve thrown in the bin. Disappointed they didn’t offer a refund is an understatement. I rang in the hope they sorted something so I didn’t write this. Also I’ve seen reviews on here saying you get a notification to say they are on the way. You don’t as you can see my screenshot hadn’t confirmed it had left and it’s here. They must be doing there own reviews, horrendous!

Quite possibly the worst meal I have had to endure. They offered a credit but I'd rather eat dog food than order from there again. A complete waste of £35. They should be ashamed.

What a disappointment.. They are boasting 4.6 stars review on their website, not sure where are they from and there is no way to actually leave a review there anyway. Noodles taste like instant noodles, too soft and overcooked. Dough around the chicken tastes odd, sweet and sour is just sweet with way too much starch. Everything is too oily as well, price is quite high in comparison to what you get. Well, it was an evening to try something new, tried it, one of the worst Chinese so far.

Chips had a chewy texture quite obviously microwaved, chicken balls had a very strange aftertaste (cinnamon like) which I thought was peculiar… I ate two out of shear hunger but that was only because we waited over 90 minutes for delivery (food was not hot) wouldn’t order again, Put some passion in you’re food! Upon reading other reviews food delivery temperature is clearly a common problem but you’ve done nothing to solve it. If I can cook better food in my kitchen why would anyone pay for this.

Thank you to the delivery driver and all the staff at red house. Not only is it fantastic food and full of flavour they really go out of there way for you. The a1 was blocked tonight and the staff arranged to dop my delivery with there driver at the lorry park as he was stuck in traffic coming from south muskham to farndon. Meal arrived hot and nice as always. Thank you all. Great service. That's what I call customer service and satisfaction
