Got to say this place has crashed over the last 5 years. We stay in a caravan on the site, used to get 10% Loyalty discount, now everything connected to Riverside is about maximising profit from their guests. £4.50 for a Pint of Cider, £3.00 for a Half, Just Outrageous.

Have been visiting this area for the past 3 years so this year was the 1st time we have come with no restrictions in place due too covid but what a let down, we were the only ones eating in the muddy oar restaurant on a Friday evening, we were told to pick any table so sat by window, food came quick but then the waitress decided to move tables around right next to us as we were eating which we thought was rude so had our main course paid and left. We called again later in the evening for a drink in the bar with another couple but again staff seemed off hand and drink prices were very expensive so we left after 1 drink. Would not recommend and would not return again.

Will absolutely NOT be returning. Like many others we have fallen victim to an atrocious parking fine, even after spending £50 in the pub garden!! We didn’t enter the building structure itself as it was lovely weather and no staff warned us of the new fines in place whilst we were served. Presumably it’s been added to sting already overpaying customers for some extra money. We provided the parking scammers with receipts that we were paying customers and had broken no regulations but our appeal has been rejected. £100, Absolutely disgusting. Service also mediocre and the bar was awfully slow.
