THE PLACE TO GO IN BEACONSFIELD FOR AN EXHILARATING INDIAN MEAL THAT FUSES ADVENTURE AND TRADITION.

Meaning ‘tradition’, Riwaz serves sensational Indian cuisine inspired by the history, cultural practices and rustic charm of the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, and Orissa among others.

The fine dining menu follows tradition and pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing, whilst also recognising that traditions get upgraded with time.

Having lived in the UK for almost three decades, Atul is excited to present a menu of British Indian traditions for the first time at Riwaz, alongside authentic dishes cooked by his grandmother.

The adventurous menus showcase a set lunch offering, with a Jugalbandi tasting menu for two to share, along with vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian dishes and tasting menus that cater for all tastes and diets.

Went for a lunchtime meal here the other day. The food was amazing. Freshly cooked tasty food which was great value for money. Highly recommend the desserts too which for an Indian restaurant were a revelation. Service was impeccable. Will be going back to try the tasting menu at some point. 5stars

One of the best meals we've ever had. We'd thoroughly recommend it. It was a culinary delight.

The food was great, but the service was hugely lacking for the price point. We had 3 tasting menus - one normal, one veg, one vegan. Whilst at times the service was incredibly slow (it took 3hrs to complete a meal and leave), the food was fantastic. But too many thighs went wrong to be a coincidence or one off. There was nobody at the front of house. We we're greeted by someone behind the bar. 2 meals were missing bits of salad or garnish, and the wait staff had no idea if something was wrong - I'd expect them to be able to recognise it. They gave me the wrong dessert for my menu, and when I pointed it out they made it seem like they were doing me a favour by bringing the right thing. 1 dish out of about 18 were explained to us when they hit the table. Whilst perfectly friendly, it's clear that this is Michelin-star quality food but the service is no way near there. It also took about 40 mins and having to gesture across the room to get our bill at the end. We didn't leave a service charge and nobody seemed interested in why. If I were running the restaurant, that feedback is hugely valuable and I'd at least ask if they seem willing to talk. But no, they just didn't care. 5 star food, 2 star service, averages out at a 3.

What a beautiful restaurant we loved the rustic feel to the place lovely atmosphere, the service was 5star all the waiters were so friendly and made extra effort to explain each dish in detail as it came to the table! The taster menu was one of the best I’ve ever had each dish was full of different flavours not too heavy but at the same time we were very satisfied and full to the brim by the end. This is my favourite Atul Kouchar restaurant so far. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The service was fantastic, the presentation also, but the food was not quite to my liking. The tastes were extremely mild and lacked any great punch; as someone from an Indian background, I was expecting full flavour and spice, however my experience was one that I think this was aimed more so at a western palate. I have dined at a couple of Atul’s restaurants and that hasn’t been the case for those experiences, so I was left a little disappointed.
