The staff are excellent but the owner/head auctioneer is an awful man who clearly has a God complex and needs to learn to treat his patrons with some respect.

Went once and won't be going again. Barely anywhere to park, lots had to be collected from 2 different sites, staff not very helpful. All in all it was pretty poor compared to other auctions we've been to.

When it comes to Antique Auction Sales in The MECCA of Auction towns in the UK there is no equal to Robert Bell of Horncastle. Dealers flock to their sales rooms on Boston Road from far and wide to discover that little gem of an antique or outbid that other collector for a prized addition to their collection. It is an experience not to be missed even if you have never attended an auction before.

Mostly house clearance stuff of indifferent quality on the day I went. Probably some hidden gems in there and it was quite crowded on viewing day, so it's worth a visit if you like auctions!
