5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on my mother's behalf, as she's been in here many times over the years. Watched all kinds of stuff. But I did back in the late 80s help out as a volunteer sort the lights/filters out for stage auditions. A midweek get together. That was fun back then 👍

Great to see the Theatre back again and the production of "Goodnight Mr. Tom" was well worth seeing with super performances from the two leads (and the dog!). Staging, lighting and sound also spot on. Very impressive refurbishment of the bar too. Would have been 5 stars but for two reasons. Firstly we called at the door in person during Thursday's performance to enquire about tickets for Saturday and were told by a guy that they were virtually sold out: when we checked online, they were nowhere near virtually sold out! Secondly, why is the only draught ale served in the bar an American pale ale, which is gassy and ridiculously (and I mean ridiculously!) cold? Are there no British ales available?! Please support local producers as Rugby supports you.
