Rydes Hill educates girls from 3 to 11 and boys from 3 to 7 within idyllic surroundings in the Guildford suburbs. We pride ourselves on our strong family feel and provide a caring and ambitious environment for children to grow in confidence and fulfil their potential. As a relatively small School, we are immensely proud of our results, leading many of our parents to refer to us as 'Small but Mighty'. Rydes Hill is a Catholic School and we welcome families of all faiths and beliefs.

Both my daughters attended Rydes Hill from nursery to year 6 and what an experience. Rydes Hill is a very special school which ensures that every child achieves their best.

Rydes Hill is a beautiful unique school. My daughter is currently at the school and is thriving with all the support she is given. The children have strong morals and respect and it is clear to see that love and kindness are given a high priority in the school. The school is small but it’s lovely that every teacher knows my daughters name. My daughter is sporty, and I am thrilled with the opportunities she has from cross country to gymnastics with many after school club available. Ballet and Drama play a key part in the school and we have been so pleased with the quality of the lessons. And how could I not mention the uniform, it’s very special like RH.

As a former pupil of Rydes Hill I couldn't resist the opportunity of attending an Open day to look around the school again. As soon as I stepped over the threshold I was greeted with the same values and nurturing environment that I myself had experienced and I knew I had to place my daughter here. Having attended since nursery she has gone from strength to strength and developed the confidence to tackle new challenges head on. The small size of the year groups ensure that each child is known to the staff and peers alike. I can not fault the dedication and care shown by the teachers. The girls at Rydes Hill are not only happy, they are intelligent and eloquent young ladies who leave well equipped to move on to the next stage of their schooling.

It is a huge privilege to be a Governor at Rydes Hill. It is such a special place. There is a lovely atmosphere in the school - everyone seems truly happy and there are always lots of smiling faces. The pupils are a delight and clearly benefit from the dedication shown by the staff who are really committed and talented. The pupils achieve great things in and out of the classroom. Rydes Hill gives them a wonderful grounding in all respects.

I was a student at Rydes Hill 8 years ago, and I go back every year for the summer production! It is a fantastic school, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and lovely teachers. The lessons are fun, challenging and interesting, catering to children of all abilities (there were quite a few dyslexic girls in my class, alongside some really academically gifted girls!) and bringing the best out of each person's strengths. The food is excellent and plentiful, as I rediscovered recently, and the term events are really fun and competetive. I was honoured to make an in-term visit within the past year, and I had a wonderful day reliving memories! On a personal level, in my final year of Rydes Hill, I contracted cancer, and had a great deal of support from the school, giving the worst year of my life a comfortable school to feel safe in. Ever since, I have looked back with love and appreciation. Overall, a 10/10.
