same premises. The current proprietor, Bob Ivetic, took over the business from his brother, Simon, in

The business prides itself in combining traditional mechanics with modern technology and conducts

itself with a personal, sincere and friendly approach.

The well equipped workshop enables the business to maintain and repair cars and light commercial

vehicles. In addition the MOT's (including both Class IV & Class VII) are conducted using a pit,

allowing overheight and LWB (long wheelbase) vehicles.

Do not try do anything in this garage. Owner is a very poor engineer, without any experience, He charge me 1200 pound for nothing, also after 4 miles driving my car was completely dead. Now I need go to the lawyers try take my money back

S and S are the best garage I've been to! The owners are fantastic and very knowledgeable, very happy to explain anything you're not sure about and you will always get an honest price from these guys! As a woman I am quite used to other garages trying to rip me off with "repairs" my car doesn't need. With S&S you'll never have to worry about that. They are really honest and good people. Would 100% recommend!

I took my car for its annual service exactly a year after its last one (this is only its second service). I find Bob really difficult as he hasn't got very good customer service skills but thankfully Jane is better with customers. Bob charged me almost £400 for a service! Noticed he had charged me £1 for screen wash and hadn't even checked whether it worked....which I knew it didn't prior to bringing it in! He did fix it whilst I was there but only because I highlighted that he hadn't checked it! Drove my car the day after and an engine management light came up (first time this has come up in the 2 years I have had the car). Rang Bob and arranged to take it back the following day. It was apparently fixed and I returned a second time for my car. Drove my car again and not only did the engine management light come on, but also the power steering light came on. Took it back for a third time (after not daring to use my car all weekend) and was told it was fixed. Bob also said that if it comes on again to take it back to the dealership. Two days later drove myself and my children on the motorway and the light came on again! Seems coincidental that no lights have ever come on the car but now they do after being at that garage. I spent 3 days of my life walking backwards and forwards dropping off and collecting my car and it still isn't fixed! Will never be using this garage again!

I have been going to Bob at S&S motors with my vehicles for a few years now, I have always received an outstanding service and have never been let down by him. If Bob is unable to do a job for me, he will put me in touch with someone who can deal with it. I have the utmost confidence and respect for Bob and his colleagues. I would highly recommend Bob and his garage to anyone who needs a vehicle sorting out.
