Scalemaster® developed the first Electrolytic Limescale Inhibitor in 1984. This product is still the only in-line Electrolytic Scale Inhibitor to be fully independently* tested and proven to extend boiler lifetime by up to 50% by reducing limescale build up in hard water areas. Scalemaster® also developed the first scale protected shower with a built in Limescale Inhibitor. In 2009, Scalemaster® were the first company to offer central heating chemicals in a 250ml bottle minimising waste yet still able to treat a 100 litre (10 rad) system. In 2012, Scalemaster®  introduced i-Mag®Pro, the first domestic heating system filter, manufactured in stainless steel, which could also be used to introduce a full system chemical treatment into a heating system in a single shot. In 2015, after 6 years of research and development, Scalemaster® obtained UK and European patent protection for the first app-based universal hand-held inhibitor tester which the professional installer can now use to carry out an annual maintenance assessment of inhibitor strength in compliance with BS7593:2019.  Scalemaster® i-Test® works with all chemical inhibitors and provides a real-time measurement of corrosion inhibitor protection, on-site, providing a report in under 5 minutes which can be sent directly to the customer.

This is the second "Scalemaster Softline 150" I've bought and put into different houses, they do exactly what it says on the tin! No need to buy expense other brands of water softener, they are great value and work! Customer service is 1st Class too, they always answer the help hotline and emails straight away. Andy was very helpful. Would highly recommend. These are not some cheap Chinese option either! Well done Scalemaster and thank you.

We had a wonderful customer service experience with Andy Martin from Scalemaster. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. If you want your water softener installed correctly, Andy is your man. He is efficient, tidy and ensures all is working properly before leaving. Our Softline 150 was originally installed slightly out of kilter but is now as it should be. Highly recommend this company as they go to extra mile
