Had a car that was scrapped in february, needed to move quickly so it was the best option. Had issues with the V5C and they told me no problem. When the car was collected asked about it and they said no problem they would inform the DVLA and sort things out. Got given incorrect information, received a letter from DVLA for the car been seen driving around and had to pay a fine either way, the scrap company in question appeared on my card as "Recycling Lives Metal & Waste Limited", since then the car has been spotted in Yorkshire with a dealership number plate for speeding and an NIP sent to myself, after having spoken to the police and DVLA finally accepting I am not driving the car, they are now searching/tracking down the people driving it illegally to prosecute them. Would not recommend this service!! Update: Martin was extremely nice and helpful and is currently trying to sort this for me, as things get sorted out happy to remove review. But the fact scraplocal are happy to help is amazing, it isn't their fault but unfortunately one of the external companies they use. The scraplocal part actually was very quick and efficient
