Absolutely useless!!!!! Ordered and paid for some prescription lenses for a dive mask. We were told they would be back in one week and delivered to out address. It didn't happen! after numerous failed promises and lies over the following weeks, we had to cancel the order, as they couldn't get them in time for our holiday. We then had a protracted ordeal trying to get a refund. Being told that they couldn't find a record or a receipt for our payment. Although they somehow knew what had been purchased. Some months later after persistent calls and emails we received a refund. Fortunately for us Mike's Dive store came to the rescue and got a mask to us in 2 days. In time for our holiday.

Absolute joke. No idea of what good customer service is. Ignored emails and when spoke to them on the phone, a flippant and unapologetic attitude that there is nothing they can do. Still....they were efficient at taking my money and hiding behind a sofa. Shame....as this used to be a great company.

It’s a good shop some good deals. If you go for cylinder fills take a gauge to check air as I took 5 cylinders to be filed and 2 were still empty after paying for all 5.

Today I decided to take the trip to the SDS shop rather than just ordering online like I usually do. The reason being, I wanted to purchase a number of items, one being a mask so trying on is always advisable. Upon arriving no staff member acknowledged us, shame but not end of the world. After a while wandering around the store, trying on a few masks, looking at other kit and so forth there was still no advice offered by any staff member. Advice when buying scuba gear can always be helpful. When we went to the counter to enquire the lady who served us was abrupt, not very helpful and didn't really give any advice at all. Other dive stores help you try items, offer fitting advice and more, none of that here. After trying a few masks I found one I liked, wasn't told that there were two versions so ended up taking one home I didn't really need yet I'm now not in a position to take the drive back to return / swap it. Rather frustrating. I wanted more kit, dual SPG console, considering trying / buying a new side mount harness and a new kit bag yet after the service I received by the lady on the initial enquiry I decided to just leave it at that and go else where for my other purchases. I like to give everyone a fair chance and so said to the lady who served us 'thank you for your help, have a good day' as we left... She didn't even reply, just turned away. It's such a shame as I have bought from SDS for a few years online but after today's experience I feel I will go else where.
