Sfizio is a family-run restaurant in Ware, Hertfordshire, specialising in lovingly made Italian cuisine – cibo di cuore (food from the heart).

Our extensive menu features a variety of delicious meat and vegetarian dishes. And, with an array of drinks on offer, you can let your hair down and enjoy a tipple or two.

Our antipasti selection includes tasty dishes like gamberoni alla griglia (grilled king prawns) and traditional paesana (an Italian cured meat and cheese salad with Parma ham, salami sausages, and fresh mozzarella, served with homemade bread).

Mains offer many exciting options, including traditionally crafted pizza, rolled veal escalope filled with Parma ham, mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce, and pan-fried lemon sole with the chef’s own sauce.

Fans of the Italian classics can rest assured that the likes of lasagne, cannelloni, carbonara and spaghetti Bolognese are also available.

Sfzio runs themed evenings, including a traditional feast featuring a variety of dishes from the south of Italy.

The restaurant also plays host to live music acts, and the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Abba tribute acts regularly perform.
