Probably the worst run shell filling station I've ever had the misfortune to use. Staff are rude, the amount of times I've been short changed by the woman @ the till by paying cash. We haven't got any change they say (usually 50p). The Costa coffee machines hardly ever have any brown sugar. The machines are not kept clean and coffees not taken left lying around the machine stations. I've had out of date tea cakes from the shop part that were rock hard. One of the night shift staff who mans the window is breaking the rules by using his own shell app & scanning all fuel sales to his own card on his phone for the people not producing a shell card themselves. I think that's all ? Oh, and the amount of times the forecourt is shut for maintenance etc.

Fuel is cheaper compared to another shell garage close by, but customer service is questionable.. Dear shell personnel, I require no apologies over here, I just want to ensure you are aware.. I rarely stop here because of rude service once from an employee. I ride a motorbike and have stopped here countless time to fuel up, I don't tend to take off my helmet at garages unless its signed out to do so and I do stop at a fair few. At this station, it only states it is enough to lift visor up. Anyhow, I've been refused service one day randomly a few weeks ago until helmet comes off and frankly fairly rudely. The employee at the counter got rude over the speakers as I wasn't really looking at him, probably waving around for a minute or two, just baffled staring at the pump as it was not working. In the end, I took it off, but I didn't quite understand as I had balaclava on, but that was fine? Anyhow, today, another worker was in, and thought it would be better, maybe it was a one off double checked the sign that says visor up is enough.. 😂 Boy, was I wrong, the aggressive gestures to take helmet off, followed by more aggressive gestures when they almost turned the pump on but realised I had balaclava on and again refused it. At this rate I feel like I may need to get out of half the gear to get served? We wore masks for 2 years and it was the opposite and I am allowed to chose to wear face coverings against the plauges still. Overall, most confusing is that I can go into and pay with a helmet on and only visor up. To be clear, I understand the reasoning and working with police to track thefts and all, but if it's down to discretion of the garage, it may be advisable to change the signs that clearly state that visor up is fine, and don't just make it up on the spot? And if I may suggest, perhaps not to be rude, as frankly I'd think you should spend more time clearing up spilt fuel around ALL the pumps today as it is dangerous, especially to motorbike riders, and play less guess the activity by waving around in the window and get rude with customers..
