Simon5 StarOur new favourite pub. The food is superb, you may think "oh, it's pub food" but it's so much better than that. The whole ambience is very conducive to good drinking and good eating. Can't recommend this enough.Friday 8th October 2021
Terence Craven5 StarFour adults and two kids for lunch, three courses each for average of £30 per adult and £15 per kid.
Average price for a meal today but the difference was the quality of the food which was excellent.
Very well cooked and good size portions and served quickly with a smile.
Have already booked again for a Sunday roast next month.
Well worth a visit I would be surprised if you are disappointed.Friday 29th July 2022
Jeff Eyre5 StarGreat local pub. Lovely large garden in the summer. Excellent food and beer, really friendly atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. Great place to hold familly functions. Dogs very welcome. As a family we don't go anywhere else. Highly recommend.Thursday 26th May 2022
David Barnard4 StarGreat food, especially the Sunday roasts, and generous portions. Good choice of drinks including real ales served as they should be. Friendly staff for which nothing was too much trouble, and good service. Nice atmosphere in relaxed surroundings.Thursday 8th September 2022
Trevor Thornton5 StarThis pub has been extremely well updated - the drinks selections are varied and with a broad spectrum and the food "quite something to write home about" - I did! Loads of seating and a warm welcome - I have since returned on more than one occasion and must confess their ambience is a real commodity in the world. I shall return again whilst not working too muchMonday 18th July 2022
