A lovely pub with a fairly decent menu, we were there for my dads birthday and the staff were very nice. My sisters hake dish didn’t come with enough of the advertised chowder so it was too dry to eat but everything else was fine

Great dog-friendly pub. Great service with lots of friendly helpful staff. We came as a family and a dog, we were treated well and had a great dining area next to the fire. The food was hearty and not expensive. Large selection of drinks. I will come back just to eat the oversized Yorkshire Pudding which resembled a boat & were clearly made onsite. Thank you staff.

Delicious roast dinner, quick service, great option of food and drinks. Overall very good experience. Only thing to note was the barman seemed to be quite rude to other staff making it feel a little awkward at times.

Nice pub with proper countryside look and feel. Location is right at the edge of town next to the train station. Plenty of parking and a really nice and big garden at the back. There's even some additional outdoor seating up front but I'd suggest the garden for a more peaceful time. Service was good and good choice of beers available too. I didn't get a chance to try any food but pretty sure I'll be back again sometime soon.

Had a 3 course lunch today waited on by Zoe, she was a brilliant waitress, very enthusiastic and friendly, also went out of her way for us as my friend is in a wheelchair so she took our order from our table outside, so we didn't have to go to the bar to order. The food was delicious and great value! Will be returning.
