Sim's Coach Travel ~ established over 100 years in the Lake District

Sim's Coach Travel is based in Eskdale in the Lake District and offers luxury coach trips and breaks to a comprehensive range of events, theatre breaks and popular resorts including flower shows, mystery tours and shopping trips, to name but a few. Private Hire Taxis

We operate our fleet of smaller vehicles under Eskdale Taxis - operating primarily in West Cumbria in the Eskdale & Wasdale valley's. We are open 7 days a week and can cater for all needs including walkers, luggage transfers, pub/restaurant visits, train station transfers and so on.

We would recommend that all journey's need to be pre-booked where possible.

10/06/23: I've been coming to Eskdale since 2005, on and off and tonight was the first time I've used Sim's Travel. This weekend was the Boot Beer Festival and after glorious sunshine all weekend, the heavens opened and it rained as we were about to leave The Woolpack Inn. Sim's were acting as a taxi service for the Festival so we took advantage of the £1.50 each (dogs were free) and got dropped right outside The Chalets. Great service, quicker than walking & getting soaked, friendly driver and kept schedule!

Went on the trip to Scottish borders may 2nd bank holiday Monday. We had a really great day. My 3 friends and myself thought it was first rate. The bus was on time .. no problem picking us up at Williamsgate. The driver Rob was very friendly and obliging. His driving was excellent ... The roads being narrow and bending xx thank you for a great day out. We will be going with you again x

Me and my partner really love Sims coach day excursions. We dont drive and really appreciate having the opportunity to visit far flung places for competitively priced adventures .We appreciate the local pick up from Cleator Moor and the friendly and courteous staff .I highly recommend Sims Travel for fantastic carefree days out .

On a recent walking trip we decided to use Sims minibus instead of driving. The service was excellent, always on time and reasonably priced. Would certainly use Sims again.
