Here at SML Motorsport we take pride in every job that we complete, from changing a tyre to a complete re-build, we care about each and every customer.
Having spent the last 10 years in the industry working for other mechanics, bodyshops and breakdown companies, I decided enough was enough. So, in 2021 SML Motorsport was born. We have our own workshop in Bampton, Oxfordshire, but we can travel to you on a case by case basis, depending on your needs. We also offer a recovery service back to our workshop, meaning you are free of worrying about how you will get your car to us should the worst happen.
Recently we have been inspected and we have been signed off as a Trusted Garage and become members of the Independent Garage Association. Our hope is that this will give you even more confidence when booking your cars, vans or other motor vehicles in with us here at SML Motorsport.

Chipstar5 StarI had a breakdown a few days before a planned holiday and honestly thought I would have to cancel. But SML pulled out all the stops to get me back on the road and on holiday. Amy Low5 StarI came to Shane with my car in Dec-21 as it needed a service and a new tyre. It also wasn't driving as it usually did so I asked him to look into it. He managed to fit me in before Christmas and was great at keeping me up to date on the progress of my car.
Unfortunately my car had more issues with it which Shane was happy to look into it and again would try and explain the problem to me in a basic way since I have no mechanical background.
His service was brilliant and he want above and beyond to get my car back working and safe to drive.
I would highly recommend Shane to anyone needing help with their car as you will receive a friendly and great service.Wednesday 30th March 2022

I used him initially for a second opinion on some work that a local garage said I needed doing , I got what I wanted an honest , Professional opinion and he has saved me £££!! Mike Bourton5 StarJust want to say a massive thank you to SML Motorsport for doing the work on my car once again and smashing it out like he always does! This was a big job! I even popped down to see him at one point he worked above and beyond to get it done for me! I had cooling issues so he found the problems and got them sorted In amazing time! I literally wouldn’t take my car to anyone else but him! I trust him with my life! So if you need a job doing no matter how big or small Shane is definitely the man to go to!! Thank you again mate!
