Please note we are open this weekend and have spaces available for Alfresco dining at Sopwell House.
** IF WE EXPERIENCE RAIN WE WILL CLOSE THE TERRACE AREA AND HAVE DINING AVAILABLE IN UNDER THE COVER OF THE MARQUEE**
Walk-in diners are welcome, we have 90 seats on the terrace and 50 in the marquee. Guests can now book Afternoon Tea and Dinner under the cover of the marquee. See link below.
We do have heaters in the marquee on the front lawn, but guests are welcome to bring blankets if they would like. Due to COVID, we are unable to lend blankets.

Juliana McKie5 StarAttended a wedding at Sopwell House. The building and grounds were so much more beautiful than the photos online. We loved wandering around and finding more and more beautiful spots. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us (we had two small children with us and they were quick to help us with their extra needs). There were some new staff being trained at the wedding, but they all did a great job. Lovely venue definitely worth visiting!Saturday 16th October 2021
Billy Rich5 StarWife and I were treated to lunch in the Brasserie and as it was a treat I can't comment if the experience was value for money.
However the food and service were first class. As it was Sunday there were the usual Sunday roast options available along with a fish and a vegetarian offer on the menu. Starters and dessert equally as tasty.
I only have one minor criticism and this is me being picky but I would have preferred a linen napkin rather than the paper one that was on the place setting.
