Mon 15th May - Church closed, no MassTues 16th May - 11am Mass, 7.30pm RosaryWed 17th May - 11am Mass, 7pm Vigil Mass of the AscensionThurs 18th May - Holy Day of Obligation: Feast of the Ascension, 11am MassFri 19th May - 11am Mass Sat 20th May - 11am Mass, 11.30am Confession followed by Adoration Mission Statement: I want you to be happy, always happy in the Lord. I repeat what I want is your happiness. PH 4:4-4 St Peter tells us to - "Reverence the Lord Christ in your heart..."Our religion is a religion of the heart. The image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has Jesus pointing to His own heart, a loving heart full of love pouring out to each one of us. This Lord, Risen from the dead is the very one we must reverence in our own heart. This is how close He is, He is in my heart. This is the meaning of such closeness - love. Jesus has come to tell the people that there is no need to go to the Jerusalem Temple any more because each person will know the Lord in their own heart. Our religion is about the utter closeness of Jesus to us that the only language the Bible authors could use was the language of the heart. Let us ensure that in this Easter time we are people who worship from the heart and that the Lord we worship is in our heart, lovingly close to us at every moment of the day. A religion of the heart will attract many people to join us here because the language of the heart is all that the human psyche wants to know about.Homilies for week of May 15th - May 21st

I'm Roman Catholic and acknowledge all faiths and try not to criticize others believes in how they worship. Today I managed to get a lift to church but for the first time was not happy with the service. Yes acknowledge the English queen but please do not speak for everyone by announcing she is our queen, the only queen I acknowledge is our lady Mary mother of Jesus and do not come to a Roman Catholic church to sing god save the Queen , part of royal family who doesn't acknowledge Catholics to become rightful heirs to their throne and a family who took and stole from Other nations from slavery and still hide there wealth from us all Never my queen

Attended mass at this Catholic Church in Farnham as a visitor. The priest made every effort to make the scriptural/gospel readings relevant to our lives today. Disappointed though to find that the average age of the church-goers for the evening Mass was about 70+. Where are the young? Nothing gives more meaning to our lives than the Mass ... and the younger generation needs meaning and purpose in their lives!
