At St Mary’s we are a church family for all ages. Our purpose is to reflect the light of God’s love into the heart of our community.

Safeguarding – St Mary’s commits to the safeguarding of all people who may be vulnerable – children and adults, ensuring their well-being in the life of this church. We seek to act in an inclusive, supportive manner in line with the national safeguarding policies defined by the church of England.

Safe Spaces is the free national support service for victims and survivors of church-related abuse. Safe Spaces Services are available by phoning 0300 303 1056.

It offers a confidential, personal, and safe space for anyone who has been abused through their relationship with either the Church of England, The Church in Wales or The Catholic Church in England and Wales, regardless of disability, age, gender, or sexual orientation.

Reflecting the return to “normality” we no longer require those attending services to wear a face covering. We are very happy though if you would prefer to wear a face covering.

As a church we are committed to fellowship, care, mutual support and spiritual life.

“St Mary’s in touch” is a weekly email network for the whole church and parish. It is intended to be a communal network, so everyone can contribute and suggest, offer, ask etc. If you’d like to keep in touch and receive spiritual resources to help you pray and to strengthen you in faith, hope and peace then contact REVD.
