The Beautiful Landscape

With around 175 acres of woodland and surrounding picturesque villages, there are plenty of places to walk and explore. The town as it stands today was created at the end of the 19th century. In 1948 the Summer Olympics was held in London and the marathon raced through Hertfordshire, including Radlett.

Only a couple of miles away is Aldenham Country Park: 100 acres of beautiful countryside. With lakeside walks, a farm, adventure playground and even the 100-Acre Wood, home of Winnie the Pooh and friends, there is plenty for all the family to enjoy. Why not take a walk or run around the Aldenham Reservoir and nature trail – perfect to get away from the daily pressures.

Living In Radlett

Watling Street has a wonderful selection of stores as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. Battlers Green Farm is on the outskirts of Radlett and is described as a rural shopping village offering a unique shopping experience. As well as the much loved farm shop, there are also more familiar stores such as Osprey.

The Radlett Centre is a 300-seat theatre which hosts a varied programmed of events, from musicals, comedy, children’s productions and even lectures and seminars. Our sale was completed within 9 weeks of sales instruction to Statons Radlett, and within 8 weeks from receiving an offer at the asking price. A period that included the 2 week Christmas holiday break. A great achievement . We feel that our decision to place the sale with Statons Radlett as sole agency, based upon our perception of Statons strong local showing has been fully justified. Particular aspects of the Staton Radlett team's performance that stand out for us include: Overall thorough service from our initial contact through to sale completion. Genuine interest in the property history and the potential to upgrade and extend the property as a selling feature, whilst retaining the cottage feel. Sound local knowledge of property values and recommendation for an achievable price range. Good sales literature description, and excellent sales photographs, and that despite the ongoing house clearance process. Good personal liason with Seller, Buyer, and the respective solicitors. Sound advice throughout the sales process to completion, to fairly protect our interest as sellers. We would not hesitate to use Statons again in the future.

One word: Excellent. My house was beautifully photographed and advertised. It went under offer in 6 days the first time and 5 days the second time. The Statons staff were conscientious, patient and very positive in their approach so we felt very well supported. They were punctual, polite and always available to answer any concerns - thank you so much. They turned what could have been a stressful time into something very manageable and a special thank you to Bradley for co-ordinating our sale and purchase of the flat. You said we would complete in mid-October and that is when it happened. I'm in love with my new home!

I thought Bradley and the Statons Radlett Team were always, courteous, available, knowledgable and assisted every step of the way. Even though i was not your client (as i was the purchaser) this did not seem to matter, questions about the property, utilities and local amenities were not too much - so much so that Bradley even arranged to get quotes from local trades for certain jobs - he went over and above and i will not hesitate to recommend both Bradley and Statons to friend and clients alike.
