Karen and her team specialize in teaching teens and tweens ages 9 and up the art of  sewing and how to express themselves creatively through the  needlearts. Check out our collaboration with My Fashion Club! You can  buy and sell Pre-Loved clothes  in great condition at Stitchworks. Stop by the shop to have a look at whats on our rail and if you would like to sell your pre-love items with us, just download our T's and C's and set up an appointment to bring them to the shop. We are located in Gobbitt’s Yard just off the Thoroughfare in the heart of Woodbridge. When  walking along the Thoroughfare you will see the “Gobbitt’s Yard" archway next to Joules and across from the Cake Shop,  come through the archway into the yard and  we are located in the back right hand corner next to the Cooks Shed.  If you are driving to Woodbridge, please note that you cannot drive on the Thoroughfare from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. As such, please don’t follow Sat Nav instructions to our postcode as it is very confusing and won’t lead you directly to the shop! Instead, set your Sat Nav to postcode to IP12 1DT for Oak lane carpark or Ip12 1DE for the Turbin Centre carpark. It is just a short walk to Stitchworks from either carpark.

Karen was so helpful in making some alterations, fixing a pair of favourite woollen gloves and putting backing, zips and edges to four cushions for us. Not only was she quick to respond to my enquiry, and worked exactly to the timescale she gave, the quality of her work and the materials she used are fantastic. Karen clearly has a keen eye for details and design, matching the colours of the velvet backing to the cushions perfectly, and works confidently in a range of mediums. So pleased to have found her and to have supported a local business. I would highly recommend and will be bringing my favourite winter coat in for the buttons to be replaced! Thank you Karen.

The ladies at stitchworks some how managed to save my beloved hat from the bin. I had tried everywhere to buy a replacement but it is no longer available. They said they would be able to repair the poor old thing and boy did they come up trumps for me. I am so delighted with the result and it will now give me many more years of service. I would highly recommend paying a visit before discarding an item that could be saved or altered, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much once again for your wonderful work, no doubt I will be back.

This business is a really good. Karen is extremely helpful and her work is first class. I had curtains altered beautifully and the patters on the sets matched perfectly. Can't rate her highly enough. I will always go there for any alterations I need.
