The restaurant and bar were, tidy, clean and welcoming but overall the food was poor and unsatisfactory. My wife had a chicken sandwich which was served as a whole chicken breast just slapped in some bread, not sliced, it also appeared to be a poor quality frozen chicken that was deep fried so it was oozing with oil. We complained to the manager who was pleasant but tried to make excuses, he offered us our money back but as it was part of a deal and we were still charged individually for the chips and drink it took less than £2 off the bill. My daughter had a pizza which seemed to be a Chicago town pizza, not a problem but it appeared to be cooked under a grill, the top was nicely browned but underneath was pale as anything and certainly undercooked. Honestly the chef shouldn't be in a job if they can't even cook a premade pizza properly, they were with incompetent or just didn't care, either way management should be addressing this through training or performance management. This isn't the first bad experience I've had at a greene king establishment so we will certainly give up on this chain. We left and went to tesco to get my wife and daughter some food.

Food was delicious and hot. Staff were really friendly, good atmosphere. Prices were good. Would definitely go there again.

Not good Filthy dirty. Staff however were amazing. Landlord was rude and unkempt. To top it all a customer farted at the bar opposite our table where we were eating. Such a shame. Bit rough around the edges!

Moody bar lady/owner would not go out the back and replenish the ice bucket as it was too late to be getting ice ! 10.30pm ! So we had lovely warm drinks 🙁

Friendly and helpful staff ..good menu choice ..well cooked food and very reasonably priced ....pensioner meal deal exceptionally good value
