Had a lovely evening meal here, staff were lovely, very accommodating and nothing was too much bother, it did seem rather understaffed however and service could be slow at times, but understandable given recent times! Food was lovely, wouldn’t say it was anything out of the ordinary though, but still very tasty and enjoyable! The price was quite high was the only slight point, with one drink and 2 courses was around £35 a head, just seemed slightly on the high side. Would come again as atmosphere and the indoor outdoor feeling was lovely

The Thatcher's Arms is our go to place for eating out locally.With a smart, clean and comfortable interior. Professional and friendly staff. They clearly know how to provide excellent customer service and good food. If you enjoy relaxed dining, with delicious, well cooked food, ample portions, always nicely presented and at reasonable prices, it really doesn't get much better than this! An added bonus is they are also dog friendly. Highly recommended!

We've been dropping in here pretty much weekly in recent months for a bite to eat on the way home from commuting to London. The food is decent (including some good veggie/vegan choices) and reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Smart, unfussy decor inside, and it's in a picturesque location with great views. Dog friendly too. Definitely worth a try.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! We had unfortunately had a bad experience at a local other pub so rang up the thatchers arms to see if they had a table for us in the next 5 minutes - they sorted us out straight away no hassles. Upon arrival all the staff were super warm and welcoming and the service from them all was just lovely! The pub itself is beautiful with log fires going and comfy seating. Drinks and food came out timely and the food was to die for! The best gluten free sausage and mash I have ever had! The overall experience here was just lovely! Super welcoming and a great atmosphere. Thank you!

What a wonderful find this pub restaurant is! Gorgeously presented, with excellent, friendly service, great selection of beverages, warm fire, lovely views and the food is outstanding. Would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you to the team for making us and the children so welcome.
