Christine Fowler5 StarFantastic lunch, 6 of us all had different meals all 5* lovely young lady who served us nothing too much trouble. Food presentation was superb 1st class. I'm known to be fussy but I fully recommend the Ashcott Inn with great food and competitive prices.we saw the chef as we were leaving and told him how much we enjoyed his food.Thursday 11th August 2022

The food was well presented with an interesting assortment of purees and garnishes the meat in the steak and kidney pudding was tuff, as was the gammon steak.
The cheese board was a little light on cheese, contained grapes that had started to turn into raisins and failed to contain the artisan crackers it claimed.
For the price I would expect a better standard of ingredients and this could explain why they seemed very quiet for a Friday night.

Anthony Cridland5 StarMy partner and I popped along to the regular bike night held here. We were quite late and it was just finishing up so didn't expect much. How wrong we were.... The live music still had a couple of songs left. The owners were a pleasure to meet and freely chatted with us. The menu for meals looked great and included a "dog menu" which also means it's a dog friendly venue inside. We will most certainly be going back for a meal to try out what looked an awesome menu!Tuesday 23rd August 2022
Devon Muxlow4 StarWe went to the Ashcott for a family Sunday dinner. Hearing they were short staffed I was impressed by the service provided. The vegetarian options were quite nice. My only complaint would be the veggie options on the starter menu wasn't clearly labelled. Overall good atmosphere, staff and range of food options.Sunday 31st July 2022
