Old pub in local area tastefully maintained and it’s character has not been lost , still has the original flag stone floor in areas of the pub. Food is good pub food although the food I ordered (fish pie ) was Luke warm when it arrived ( I like my food hot ) staff were accommodating and brought it back hot 👍 Overall nice meal with friends great to see pubs still having lots of support in these trying times .

Great service, prompt and friendly. Interesting menu, would visit again! Veal croquettes were great! Fish pie was good but pastry unnecessary. Halibut was lovely though risotto was a little overcooked for my liking.

Popped in yesterday with my dad brother and nephew. Had a lovely meal and some extra takeouts too. Staff friendly and attentive. New patio decking looked excellent too. Well done Bill

Large car park. Lovely old building. Clean, light and comfortable restaurant. Well spaced tables. Friendly and efficient staff Beautifully cooked and presented food. Good choice of mains and dessert. Reasonably priced. Convenient for visiting to he East Suffolk Transportation Museum.

A lovely welcome into a well decorated pub. I carefully chose from the menu and received my meal just how I wanted. The portion size was beyond ample, so needed a doggy bag. However there's always room for a calorific pudding.
