Located on the outskirts of Dalton-in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside a former coaching inn, the Black Dog is still run as a traditional, local pub. The quarry tiled floors, rustic beams and log fires are cosy in the winter while our decked terrace is enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year.
With a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, there’s sure to be something for all tastes. We have a superb range of award-winning ales and draught beers, serving a great selection of wines, gins and whiskeys.

Paula M5 StarVery welcoming place, lovely staff, room is super clean, great small touches like bottle of water in the room and Nespresso coffee machine, sturdy bed, super comfy mattress, very peaceful surroundings, breakfast was unreal, the best scrambled egg I had in a while ! I wish we had time to stay longer :( definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Lake District !Wednesday 29th June 2022
