Nice pub, friendly staff and good food. Slightly off putting yesterday when sitting outside, there were dirty nappies left on the grass next to our table. Not necessarily down to the pub but the family who were there with their children, however something should have been said as not particularly great when food is being served. The young lad taking orders stepped around the nappies himself! They were only moved when the absent parents returned to the table and I asked them to move them. Perhaps something should be in place where staff walk the area to ensure this doesn’t happen?! Have visited this pub many times and would recommend however.

We hosted a 60th birthday party in the Barn at the Black Horse Inn and it was a wonderful experience and a complete success. From the moment I first got in touch, Lisa was incredibly helpful with answering questions and explaining the space and what was possible and making accommodations to make the event run smoothly. Her team were great, the food was outstanding, screen and music systems made putting the extra special touches much easier and the space is great for social events. The birthday girl was suitability surprised and happy ,😊 Thank you to Lisa and her team!

This place is only five minutes from Chesham yet it's really tranquil and relaxing. The garden is particularly lovely, where you can sit under parasols and a water will bring your food and drink to you. There's plenty of parking.
