Plenty of seating inside and out a large part of which is covered by a canopy.
Parking at the pub is quite limited but there is a large field just across the river. It only costs £3 a day and there is a foot bridge over the river to the pub.Thursday 28th July 2022

I really didn't mind being asked to go to the.pub counter to order, but I don't think it's right to expect the public to carry out their own drinks and food. I felt unsteady and saw someone trip slighltly and his beer tipped all over him and the floor and glass smashed. We are patrons not waitrons. Apart from that, I really rate this place and will visit again.Wednesday 15th June 2022
wayne howe5 StarHas a pub ever been in a more beautiful location. Huge outside area with plenty of shaded areas for those who are not keen on strong sunlight. Friendly service, food is good with most meals around £12. I had grilled chicken salad. The chicken was coated with sumac which was tasty,juicy and was accompanied by a very tasty salad with shredded carrot and leaves seeds agave and orange pieces.
My son had Firecracker chicken with rice. The chicken was coated in an Asian style bbq sauce,again very tasty.As you can see by the photos its right by the river Medway ( Yalding)
There's parking at the back and on the nearby road. Yalding rail station is about 10 mins away and has an hourly service to/from Paddock Wood and to/from Maidstone West via the Medway Valley line.Tuesday 21st June 2022
Rose5 StarHands down the best burger I've ever had - the loaded fries were absolutely delicious! The waiters were very friendly and the food was excellent. Combined with beautiful nature, this restaurant located right on the river makes the perfect place to unwind and have a great time.Friday 17th September 2021
