The Boot is a characterful, traditional pub that has been refurbished to the highest standards. Features include a large fireplace perfect for those cosy winter evenings, a bright and spacious brasserie featuring gorgeous wooden beams and a cosy drawing room ideal for private events.
Not only does The Boot have a gorgeous interior, it boasts a fabulous garden. With a sun-trap terrace and a large heated stretch tent that is perfect for drinking or dining throughout the year.
The delicious menu is full of fresh and seasonal dishes from traditional pub grub to French favourites – quality and flavour are the order of the day with home-cooked dishes prepared by the chefs using the very best, sustainable ingredients. The Boot is especially famous for its wonderful Sunday lunch – definitely worth a try!

Amanda Rout5 StarWe took advantage of the Come Dine With Your Furry Friend offer and nobody was disappointed!!! The food was great, as was the service. My only very minor quibble is that the portion of bread that came with the mussels main course was not adequate and I would have preferred softer slices to soak up all the lovely sauce. But other than that, very glad we visited and we will definitely be returningThursday 26th May 2022

The staff were fantastic the gentleman serving us (I figured he was in charge ?) was great happy to accommodate all our needs polite and as with all the staff professional in every move .
The food as in the pictures was well presented portion size ample and the flavours were all able to be identified and enjoyed.
The restaurant and the bar areas were clean and looked brilliant ,well worth a visit we were fortunate to get a very busy an sought place and will be back to try the Sunday Roast well done to all 10/10Monday 29th August 2022

The staff where really friendly, explained everything very well and didn't keep bothering us, it's all the small little things which make the experience enjoyable, they brought a large jug of water into at the beginning of the meal, half way through they replaced it with fresh cold water even though we hadn't finished the first jug. They explained who our virgin experience voucher work and what it included.
The restaurant had a really nice feeling about it, not over crowded decorated really nicely and you could see Into the kitchen from where we were sitting (very organised)
The food tasted really good ! It's been along time since I've had food which tasted so good ! I would happily go back again. The price was fair and the staff where lovely !Sunday 18th September 2022
hazheat5 StarBest test of a gastro pub is a busy Sunday lunch, and the Boot excelled with great service, friendly and polite, and really high quality food. Plenty of choice, not just the simple 3 roasts. With our party of 5 adults and 3 young children we had a variety of selections and all were top notch. Full marks for the tender roast beef and the most interesting fish curry. A little wait for the desserts was worth it and the pistachio soufflé was best ever. They’re doing everything right and deserve to do well. We had Doombar beer with mains but checked out the wine list and it had a broad range at various price points. The mark-ups weren’t too excessive, which is a relief in the post covid world.Sunday 2nd October 2022

The menu changes seasonally and for this last menu I seriously love the Chicken Ballotine served with mash and mushrooms 👌👌, but i need to make reference to the Beetroot terrine, Wild mushrooms fricasse (5 different mushrooms!), Crab and sweetcorn bon-bons and the really famous pistachio soufflé ❤️Saturday 1st October 2022
