We've visited a fair few Botanist's up and down the country and they're always a good safe bet. I have to say, though, we were genuinely impressed here. Super happy staff that were attentive and polite, with incredibly fresh food. It made the whole experience a real pleasure, especially with our table host (so sorry we didn't catch your name!). Leagues ahead of the Sheffield and Leeds locations.

Great atmosphere and surroundings. Food is really tasty and a good range of different items including veggie and vegan options. Large range of cocktails with alcohol free alternatives too. Service was great, quick efficient and very friendly. If you can get a table upstairs in the window you get a good view of the square below for a bit of people watching.

We had booked the table in advance, which was a big help as it was a busy Sunday lunch. We were seated immediately. My husband had a birthday badge on, so every member of staff we came into contact with enthusiastically wished him a happy birthday which was so lovely. All staff were welcoming and professional. We ordered fro the Sunday roast menu and the halloumi kebab, with a few sides. Service speed was more than reasonable for the amount we ordered during a busy service. Food quality was excellent. Staff were more than happy to bring extra table condiments without extra charge.

We joined a couple of friends for lunch today. Staff were very nice and polite. Food, drinking service was good BUT unfortunately we couldn't hear our conversation because of the loud music. I can understand it perhaps in the evening, not at lunch time. We really struggled to have a conversation.
