Grant Woodhouse5 StarAfter visiting the castle we decided on the off-chance to see about getting Sunday lunch in a dog friendly pub. This came up and we went to see. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, giving us a table for an hour and its clearly popular. We each had a roast, one of each of the three meats on offer. Visited The Brewer's Arms this weekend and I was jealous that Martinstown had such a pub, whereas where I live we don't have anything like this all that local. From the friendly welcome, the great level of dog friendly-ness and the quality of the food, I can only give 5 stars. Not only was the pub great but the locals were very welcoming as well. Extremely helpful staff who were attentive to gluten free and Coeliac dietary needs & helpful for those concerned about Covid exposure. Great menu, food was delicious, well presented & reasonably priced. Minute steak cooked meltingly tender medium rare to perfection!Saturday 27th August 2022
