The Brookfield

Step inside our beautiful Georgian property ( built in 1798 ), and you move straight into the 21st century. Our boutique inspired bed and breakfast is furnished in contemporary style from top to bottom, whilst retaining many of the original Georgian features.

We are situated in South Street, away from the busy main road, but just 400 metres from the village centre with it’s shops, pubs, bistros and restaurants. Park the car in our own private car park on the front of the building and everything in is less than 3 minutes walk.

If you are playing golf at Saunton, Illfracombe, Portmore or Royal North Devon golf courses, we offer secure storage for golf bags and trolleys. If your trolley is electric, bring your charger and we will charge the battery for you.

If you are surfing at any of the regions popular beaches (Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough or Woolacombe) we will also securely store your surfboard and dry off your wetsuits and other surf gear.

For walkers and cyclists on the South West Coastal Path (in this area known as the Tarka Trail or to cyclists as Route 27 on the Devon C2C) the path is only 200 metres from our front door. We can also store your bicycles, charge electric bikes or arrange cycle hire for you from Otter Cycle Hire. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
