We have all the bases covered for a catch-up with friends, a family outing, a celebration, a seat in the sun, an impromptu drink, or a well-earned break. An integral part of the village, we support local darts teams, domino leagues, and Fringford cricket club. The Butchers Arms also hosts an Aunt Sally team. Aunt Sally is a traditional game only played in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The perfect place to enjoy a selection of real ales with a quality home-cooked food menu. Daily specials add to our traditional menu at reasonable prices, and we cater for dietary needs, vegetarian, and vegan diets. We also offer a wide range of lagers, ciders, wines and spirits.

Lovely pub in a quaint village. Service with a smile and happy to accommodate requests to fill water bottles for us and dogs. Shame there wasn't a Sunday roast on offer but the homemade pork scratchings helped to keep us going.

Nice typical village pub with good outdoor space. Three stars as the food was cold and didn't seem fully cooked (hard potatoes and cold chilli amongst other issues). However they were having gas/kitchen issues and the staff did apologize so it may be good food normally.

Visited with family today for a Sunday roast. Very impressed with the food and friendly service. I had the roast beef which was served with fluffy Yorkshire pudding and fresh vegetables. All delicious.

We were expecting an anazing lunch having had been here many times in the past. Under new ownership we liked the new fresh look. However the Sunday roast was very disappointing. Not a patch on the the previous owners. Very small portions, barely warm.we went home hungry. The servers were a little inexperienced and flustered although very pleasant. Lots of room for improvement.

Friendly village pub adjacent to the cricket green. Stopped for lunch, had a tasty panini, plus a good beer too and sat out watching a cricket match. An enjoyable break to an afternoon of cycling the quiet village lanes.
