Terrible School My daughter gets 1 hour detention for having a green pen. I've told her not to do this and told the Shool they have gone to far just found out male teachers are searching female students there person and there blazers inside pockets it like a prison they not just punishing students and parents also we received text say please be careful student being snatched outside another school but OK to allow them walk home in the dark. Student safety really.

Awful school... teachers very rarely stay so there is a constant conveyor belt of stand in teachers who don't know what the class should be learning so the children are given books to copy out of. The school push children to be at high levels in subjects without actually teaching them the basics of the subjects just so they can report that their students are at high level teaching but when the pupils are not understanding the work set for them the teachers simply tell them to ask their friends to explain and if all else fails copy their friends work. My daughter was told this on many occasions to do this. Safety is a massive issue police have been drafted in because of dangerous weapons and drugs were found to be bought into school by pupils. My daughter was offered heroine on a few occasions. Another time a French teacher threw a chair at a pupil because the pupils mum wanted to bring her passport in to school herself due to the fact that her and her daughter had to flee to sheltered safe home because of an abusive husband..and the mum felt happier bringing in the passport herself so the French teacher lost it and threw a chair at the girl. He was told to go home for rest of day and the next day the same French teacher took the class out on the scheduled trip. Where's that poor girls protection there??? No I had pull my daughter out of this so called school ... these instances that I have written are just the tip of the iceberg. If your child is certain they want to attend this school make sure they go with a few good friends so they have a network of ones they can lean on if it gets tough for them...if your children come back with a horror story about the school listen to them..chances are they are telling the truth

I honestly wouldn't bother with this school. If you're currently looking for a place for your child to go and you are stuck. Don't be. All of the good teachers are leaving and going to St. Georges so the only good bit about it will soon be gone. The headteacher runs away from problems and leaves the deputy to deal with it and he doesn't interact with pupils in a polite manner either. A smile in his direction will be greeted with nothing, or if you're lucky, a grunt. If you want some genuinly good teachers, head to St. Georges or if that isn't right for you, keep looking because I guarantee somewhere else will be better. Frankly, prison seems more inviting, at least the food would be half decent.

this is one of the worst run schools in Kent, the so called head teacher hides behind the fact that he has meetings all day and cant return a phone call to a concerned parent, and as for one member of staff thinking she can bully a child and think she can get away with it with no intervention is a joke. if I had a member of staff conduct themselves in the way she has she would be dismissed. OFSTED need to take a long look at this school and the staff they have working there. if you want you child to have a good education DONOT send them to this school.

Was moved from this school due to the lack of support from teachers. I have encountered teachers that have witnessed an event of bullying (and there is a lot) and these teachers have not intervened despite knowing the situation. There are lots of fist-fights that I witnessed before I obviously left the place due to the sense that the safety of other students is breached by the lack of intervention.
